PK Contest: Caption This Firefly Pic, Win Serenity Action Figures!

firefly2.gif

Behold! The gates have been opened, the curtains have been pulled and we are proud to announce that contest #2 will be...a caption contest! The winner is the reader that the PK staff finds most entertaining (and that is pretty difficult in itself, as we are not easily entertained). You can view an undoctored version of the contest pic after the jump.

He or she will receive the Serenity action figures seen in our earlier post from Dark Horse Comics in celebration of the just released Serenity: Better Days comic book.

Here are the rules: You can either write out your captions in the comments section below or take this picture and work some Photoshop magic for your captions and email it to us.

Remember you may only use the picture in this post.

You may enter as many times as you like. The contest ends next Wednesday (March 26) at 11:59 PST.

Aim to misbehave and entertain!

Our first contest winner was from the UK. So no worries, it's open to all!

Okay, here's something, posted here, as I don't know how to use Photoshop.

Malcom: You know, if it weren't for the Cannibalism, I'd suggest tracking down some Reavers right about now.

Okay, me again with another submission or two. I've never really watched Firefly so be gentle on me with that kind of stuff.

"Zoe: I said NO. Last time you two sat in the front seat together Jayne ended up with his hand on the stick shift!

River: But this is an automatic.

Zoe: I KNOW!"

Draven Rahl said:

River: "remember, I can kill you with my brain."

Jayne: "I really am sorry for turning you in."

Zoe: "Big Damn heros."

Mal: "Ain't we just."

"Oh Lois, you SO don't want to know!"

Comic of the Week

Review: Avengers: The Children's Crusade #1 I literally clapped my hands together and said OhMyGodYesssss when the friendly staff member at my regular shop held this book out to hand it to me. Allan Heinberg and Jim Cheung finally - finally - return to this title with a nine issue limited series. I will spare you paragraphs of pontification and cut to the chase: it's not just good, it's the best thing Marvel has going, period. Read on for the pontification and petty quibbles!...
