First, a reminder that our contest is still going on, and your comments will be included until Wednesday night at 11:59PM PST. Good luck!

I know we've been posting a lot of articles so in order to help you sort through the best, here is our handy wrap-up:

  • We picked our first LGBT Comic of the Week: Love and Rockets: Maggy the Mechanic
  • In case you missed them, we picked and then reviewed the week's new comic book releases.
  • We solicited readers for inappropriate touching their time to spread the word about the newly revamped PK.
  • Sgt. Sausagepants reviewed the highly anticipated Justice League: A New Frontier
  • Goblin posted an interesting story about comic book logos and how they're created.
  • kid_ampersand (not to be be confused with lad&underscore) joined the staff.
  • Buffy got physical with someone surprising.
  • We got our first look at The Watchmen movie costumes, and they don't entirely suck.
  • The Titans #1 teaser image made some fans giddy, others...not so much.
  • The Sandman's Hazel and Foxglove became our LGBT Characters of the Week.
  • Oraclechele posted the first of many local comic book shop profiles.

"Oh Lois, you SO don't want to know!"

Comic of the Week

Review: Avengers: The Children's Crusade #1 I literally clapped my hands together and said OhMyGodYesssss when the friendly staff member at my regular shop held this book out to hand it to me. Allan Heinberg and Jim Cheung finally - finally - return to this title with a nine issue limited series. I will spare you paragraphs of pontification and cut to the chase: it's not just good, it's the best thing Marvel has going, period. Read on for the pontification and petty quibbles!...
