Last Defenders Defend New Jersey...Sorry Idaho, Maybe Next Time

Marvel has revealed that the latest Initiative driven team will be defending the borders of New Jersey with their...eclectic powers, to say the least. The Last Defenders will consist of Nighthawk, Blazing Skull, She-Hulk, and most surprising, Colossus, fresh from his Astonishing X-Men stint. I have to say I'm interested in finding out how these characters will interact and what their role in the Marvel Universe will be. You can find out for yourself as well when the first issue debuts next week!

Comic of the Week

Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
