Ding! World of Warcraft #5 Preview Now Available
My name is Jonostarsmore, and I have a problem.
Hey listen, it's not like I'm the only one out there: there were at least ten million of us at last count. Who can blame us? The world is completely engrossing, and the lore is almost as rich as Tolkien's.
My name is Metuos and I play an Undead Warrior on the Blade's Edge server in World of Warcraft.
Yes I'm only level 27 and all I have are greens on me, but I'll get better! A few more instance runs and I'll have all blues, you'll see.
Anyway, I love the lore of WoW (when it's not being retconned for expansion purposes) and I've been really enjoying the comic book series. I highly recommend checking out a preview of the upcoming issue #5 over at Myspace Comics.
I know PK is all about comics, but allow me to branch out in my geekery and ask: Do any of you play WoW? And if so, details please!!

I just started about 2 months ago, after fighting it off for so long.
I have a blood elf warlock and a draenie resto shaman.
I .. am.. addicted.
I'm totally late to the WoW party having only started playing this past December. I started with a blood elf warlock named Gorgik. PLayed him up through lvl 35 or so (almost all of it soloing, oddly enough, with nary a concern for gear with proper eagle-type enchants. Lord knows how I got to 35), then stopped to explore alts.
I took on a druid (which I found dull, but am told gets better with cat form), a mage (conjuring food and water is nice, but other than that anything a mage can do my destro lock can do better), and a priest (um, no). Then I made my rogue. Rogues, glorious rogues. His name is Steerpike, he just dinged 54 thanks to a Sunken Temple run late last night, and he's a member of the bestest guild ever, Cryptic Orchids. All of my toons are on the Antonidas server.
Thankfully, I just happened to be taking a graduate course this quarter through my department (English) called "Aesthetics of Video Gaming." Guess who wrote a WoW paper? Oh yes.
I'm a recent-ish convert to WoW as well. Having finally caved into my coworker's incessant prodding (not in the good way ;-). About 6 months later I am Argojax of Cenarius, a level 70 Gnome Frost Mage (what can I say, I'm a frigid b*tch ;-).
And to Mr. Destro-Lock-Can-Do-Better above, tell that to the next mage you have to ask for a portal to Shattrath, or once you hit 70 the one you pester for [Conjured Manna Biscuits] ;-)
