DC Says No Multiverse! DC Says Multiverse! Universe Implodes, Creates Mega-UltraVerse

Bear with me, DC folk, as I try not to butcher this up. It seems as though fan-fave Geoff Johns has released this blatant teaser for the upcoming Justice Society of America Annual #1. In it, you can easily spot Earth-2 characters...which is confusing for me as a very casual DC reader not quite casual enough DC reader because I thought the multi-verse was destroyed or something.
Anyhoo, check out the link to Newsarama for the full, intimidating character run-down!
Welcome To Earth-2 Teaser Released [Newsarama]

I'm not even a DC reader, but you can't be all that casual if you don't know that the weekly released series 52 they had last year and this years weekly called Countdown brought back 51 alternate Earths.
Maybe very casual is too strong...how about, glancing at the covers reader?
Ummmm...yeah. I agree with Nexus, and would add--if you don't read DC, don't comment on DC.
"It is better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."
The multiverse is back, baby!
@ Tony:
Ouch. I do read DC comics, I just haven't been following Countdown at all. The last big thing I read from them was 52 because it was so good. I actually was aware that the multi-verse was back (See the title of the post) and that comment was meant to be more of a critique in the form of a facetious comment.
If you look back at some of our entries, you'll see that we're no friends of absurd plots that are just wonky (see One More Day, etc)
And for in depth DC analysis, you can count on our resident DC experts Oraclechele, kid_ampersand, and Sgt. Sausagepants to bring in the big guns.
I stand by my original casual DC reader status, but they'll be able to cover the nitty gritty.
Sorry for the snark-factor in that post. Personally, I'm super-glad the multiverse is back, because it means CRIME SYNDICATE OF AMERIKA, bay-bee! Owlman, Ultraman and Superwoman, Power Ring, evil Johnny Quick and the rest--Oh yeah!
