A Long And Winding Road: Mountain View's Lee's Comics

It is my pleasure to introduce everyone to my LCS, Lee's Comics.
A group of us at work have a weekly Comic Book Thursday outing to Lee's Comics in Mountain View to check out the latest in monthlies and trades.
Hit the jump for a full introduction and some more pics!
I was first introduced to Lee's after a long hiatus from comic books by one of my co-workers and immediately fell in love with all the cool stuff that they have on display.
Lee's is a really good place to check out trades as they have 3 complete aisles dedicated to them. They also have the latest releases and a back issue area. All along the walls you can find various comic book paraphernalia such as t-shirts, posters, older comics, and action figures.
As for service, the guys on duty are incredibly friendly and will help you find whatever you are looking for. They also offer de rigueur pull list, where you can ask them to pull all of your favorite titles before they sell out.
My latest trip had me accidentally running into the owner and founder, Lee Hester, who was more than happy to take his picture for this very feature. He also writes a bi-weekly email newsletter to let you know about store sales (which happen frequently).
Lee's Comics has two locations, one in Mountain View and one in San Mateo. If you live anywhere near these fine shops in the bay area's peninsula, make sure to check them out, especially since they have the PK seal of approval.

I was pleasantly surprised to see this here; cool to know you're local! And yes, Lee's is great. :) Everytime I try to go anywhere else, I wonder why I'm not at Lee's. I don't think I've ever NOT found a trade I've been looking for, there.
Very weird to see this store on the website since I go to it every month to pick up the new Buffy. It's become a cool monthly ritual where I go to Lee's top pick up the latest issue then walk across the street to the In-N-Out. In the time it takes for my order to appear, I can usually read through the comic at a nice pace.
@Indi: Exactly. I do all my TPB shopping there, and if they don't have it, they'll order it for you.
@MuddBstrd: On the rare occasions where I get to leave work early or head to Lee's on the weekend, I have a similar ritual, only mine ends in Goldilock's munching on some fine Filipino food and a nice big stack of comics. :-)
And the funny thing is... His son is my roommate... Lee Hester the forth is his full name... wow... His dad more famous the i've knew... just wow.
Wow, I read my dad's newsletter which had a link to this site, scrolled down the comments when I finished reading the page, and saw that my former roommate (I just moved out on Monday) had visited the site and commented. Wow! No wonder he was asking me about kryptonite all of a sudden! And just to set things straight, my full name is actually Lee Malcolm Hester IV, so there, Bartelemy Reaud!
