Make A Comic In 24 Hours, Get Famous In S.D.

Are you a budding comic creator? Are you looking to get famous? Well, not necessarily famous, but at least looking to have something impressive on your resume when you bring your stuff into a publisher to get it printed and distributed across the country? Well, then, Dear Readers, might I suggest that you look into the 24 Hour Comic Contest which will take place over at the University of South Dakota:
Artists will be given a theme, image or idea to use in a six- to eight-page comic book that must be completed within 24 hours.During the contest, artists can leave but must return by 6 p.m. Saturday with a finished black and white or greyscale comic, reproducible within an 8- by 5-inch page.
Computers with Adobe CS software, scanners and printers will be available in the Graphics Lab, though contestants are free to create comics by any method, in any location.
The contest begins on February 29, and you can get more information (or even register) over here.
