First Photo From Wolverine Film Unveiled

So... let's be honest about something, shall we? The last X-Men movie was awful. Well, I say awful, but I just mean awful in comparison to the flicks that were helmed by Brian Singer instead of Brett "No Character Development" Ratner. Needless to say, I wasn't particularly thrilled when i heard the announcement about how the studios were getting set on developing a Wolverine-only film shortly after The Last Stand's commercial success.
But, time's rolled forward, and details about the movie are starting to roll out, regardless of the sound and fury many comics fans were raising. The above photo was released to go in a USA Today article about the film, and some vague plot details were revealed for their readers:
Jackman is tight-lipped on plot details, though he says the film will hardly be a one-mutant story.Wolverine's nemesis Sabretooth "is going to play a big part in it. And there will be a good bit of cameos" of new and familiar mutants, he says. "But you can't give too much away, because fans are pretty hard-core. Their expectations go up a level every time you come out with a new film."
Well, I suppose this could be interesting, provided that Sabretooth is actually developed into an interesting character instead of being used as a barely-coherent thug (don't get me wrong, I liked how he was played in the first X-Men movie, but such characters don't work well as major antagonists for heroes). Oooh... maybe we could revisit that plotline from the early 90s where he thought he was actually Wolverine's father? Oh, and could we work Albert and Elsie-Dee in, too? They were totally cool!
