Witchblade Coming To DVD (Finally)

TNT’s live-action version of Witchblade was a bit of a guilty pleasure for me, mainly because it somehow managed to craft a nice gritty urban-fantasy feeling in spite of the fact that the show’s producers were operating on a budget smaller than my allowance in high school. It was always a little painful to me that the series died after the second season (amidst rumors of Yancy Butler’s erratic behavior), and I always hoped that I could rewatch it on DVD at some point in the future.
Apparently some DVDs are in production, though, as Anthony Cistaro (who played the deliciously evil Kenneth Irons) put a post up on his website saying the following:
" Anthony will be filming interviews next week for the long awaited Witchblade DVD! Not sure yet if if [sic] will be the complete series."
No other details are available, but hopefully these DVDs will be for at least an entire season and not a few choice episodes (like they used to do with some of the animated DC Comics shows).
