Millartime! Mark Millar Brings Some Mysterious Shenanigans To Marvel

1985-mark-millar.jpg

Fresh from the huge success of his Civil War blockbuster event, Mark Millar returns to Marvel to inject The Fantastic Four with some much needed adrenaline. That and he's also taking a Dark Knight approach to Marvel's mainstay, Wolverine, propelling our favorite Canuck 50 years into the future. He's also going to be working on a title known only as 1985, which Millar calls "Marvel's Chronicles of Narnia". Oh, and did I mention that all three titles will tie in together?

What the heck is going on? I'm not quite sure, but knowing Millar, it has to be good.

Millar's first issue (joined by Brian Hitch) will hit stands next month with Fantastic Four #554.

Check out his interview over at CBR to unravel the latest mystery in Millarworld.

Is it going to involve more ridiculous stuff like "the only thing that can kill wolverine is a sword" concept.

Whoops that wasn't directed at Millar, just Marvel shenanigans in general.

"Oh Lois, you SO don't want to know!"

Comic of the Week

Review: Stormwatch #1 Stormwatch #1, the first of DC's new 52 to feature LGBT characters (before the reboot, at least) is out to add a new cosmic dimension to the post-Flashpoint universe. There isn't much to be said for our beloved broship yet (though the last page shows a handshake between Apollo and Midnighter and promises a "Big Bang"), but the issue is a great gauge for whether or not you'll want to stick with the series to see the romance purportedly unfold....
