Jumper Comic Preview Online
Not only is the upcoming Jumper movie getting a video game tie-in, but apparently it’s also getting the comic treatment as well. Oni Press has put up a 23 page preview of the comic, which serves as a prequel to the movie. Entitled “Jumpscars”, the story serves to flesh out a bit of background in regards to the ongoing war between the “Jumpers” (those who have the ability to teleport around the world at a though) and the “Templars” (who are hoping to be taken seriously by employing Samuel L. Jackson as their fearless leader).
Having read through the comic, I’m not all that impressed by the storyline. The art’s OK, but I’ve seen both better and worse over the years. If you want to check the comic out, hit the link below. If you want to read a far better story, though, I’d recommend just picking up the original novel instead.
