New Ghost Rider Art Revealed
Good God in Heaven, but Marvel Comics sure seems intent on revamping a number of their established characters with new designs. First it was Captain America, now it's Ghost Rider. Newsarama sat down with Ghost Rider's new artist, Roland Boschi, and discussed a number of subjects including -but not limited to- Boschi's background in comic art, the direction the comic might be going in, and this slightly-worrying little quote:
NRAMA: As an artist, what's unique to you about drawing Ghost Rider?RB: Definitely, the super-fights on the motorcycle--that is extremely unique! But it is also a rock ‘n’ roll creepy horrorshow in the Marvel Universe!
Um... yeah, OK, that's only slightly disconcerting. However, Boschi's art is kinda reminiscent of Mike Mignola, so maybe this won't suck as bad as I think it's going to.
