Virgin No More! *Updated*
Rumour has it that Vertigo title, critics and fan favourite American Virgin has been deflowered. In fact series writer, Steven T. Seagle, has a few written a few words which was reposted in a Newsarama blog, take it for what's it worth.
For those of you not in the know, American Virgin is about sex, faith, politics, family, death...in other words, its about life. Though stylized, it is a very real look at all the base impulses that work in any given person's life, reminding us that sex is as fundamental as eating and shelter.
Two trades are currently available, "Head" and "Going Down." "Wet" is due out in November. "Around the World" is the current arc, hopefully to become a trade in the near future.

It was never actually a "rumor," as the piece you link to was written by Seagle himself for Newsarama.
It was unconfirmed in the fact that it was repost, not verifiably posted by Seagle himself (may have been, it was just impossible to tell). I tend to err on the side of caution in situations like these. After I got two sources it was confirmed.
Wait a second.. Steven T Seagle??? Wasn't he the guy that did House of Secrets for Vertigo? That was like my FAVE comic. But i've never heard of this American Virgin series til now. Is it (as) good?
