Galactus Will Reappear In Silver Surfer Movie, Might Not Look Stupid

Dear Tim Story,
Stop. Just stop. Seriously. A lot of us really disliked Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, especially how you mangled the characters of both Galactus and the Surfer. I'm just kind of stunned by the fact that you wrote off your incompetence with Galactus as a kindness to future movie-makers:
"We decided early on that we would not bring him to life completely as you might think of him in the comics, being a man with the suit and the helmet and everything else. One of the main reasons is because we always knew that there was going to be a Silver Surfer 1, or they were going to make a spin-off of the Silver Surfer. If I gave up everything in this movie, then that movie wouldn't have much to go on. Knowing that I wasn't going to do it that early, I wanted to keep it fairly open to interpretation by the director who would do that one. So the idea of the cloud and everything made pretty good sense to us."
Wow, that sure was nice of you to be on the look-out for the director of the Silver Surfer movie (rumored to be Alex Proyas, who directed The Crow and I, Robot). Are you absolutely sure it was your altruistic nature that went with the "Galactus Is A Giant Dust Cloud From Hell" look and not the fact that you're a crappy director who's only made one good movie ever?
