Ask-A-Fanboy: Lacking

When are they gonna bring back Superboy? Teen Titans was boring enough, at least he was pretty to look at.
The death of D.C. hottie, Conner Kent, weighs heavily on my soul as well. After finally getting him in a costume that would look equally hot on the floor beside my bed, they kill him off.
I wouldn't expect to see Superboy back anytime soon. D.C. lost a court case over ownership of the name "Superboy" to the heirs of the original creator, and if you've noticed since the court case all reference to him is "Conner" not "Superboy".
What is the mystical secret to obtaining a quality haircut for under $100?
A gay stylist and a good blowjob.
How many terrible games does one have to purchase before learning to read the damn reviews ahead of time?
Exactly 34.
If Batman and Optimus Prime had a lovechild, what would it look like/what would its super powers be?
Ah, I take it you have not heard of Dark Knighticus Prime? Not a love child, but one the tragic events one evening when Bruce was one patrol and stumbled on the Matrix. Recognizing a worthy soul, but mistaking all of Batman's gadgetry for an Autobot, the Matrix integrated with Bruce, merging man with machine. With all of the strength of a giant robot, and all the agility of Batman, Dark Knightcus prime can also transform into a bat, batmobile, batplane, and batboat, truly striking terror into the criminal underground.
Could you recommend a good Gamecube game to purchase to tide me over until the good Wii games come out?
I have two recommendations:
- Lego Star Wars if you don't already have it. Amazing gameplay, funny as hell. I have, in a very rare moment, nothing bad to say about it.
- Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Surprisingly good RPG. Audience participation! Funny!
Okay, bonus game: Zelda Wind Waker is actually one of my all time favourite games.
Everyone is telling me X-3 is a good movie. I need your help to prove them wrong.
Whether a movie is good or not is a difficult thing to quantify. Some argue box office success. To this I say, From Justin to Kelly. It made a lot of money, and a lot of eyeballs bleed.
X-3 sucked big hairy donkey balls. Not a single character was treated correctly. Phoenix was woefully underpowered (and a product of the id?? WTF??!?), Rouge was a whiny little twat. Let's not even talk about Halle Berry. The new director did show talent at destroying two beloved classic story arcs (John Byrne's Dark Phoenix, and Joss Whedon's Gifted). You don't have to prove it was bad to anyone. If they can't see how badly it sucked, or make some dumbass argument about "film is a different media, it can't be true to the comic books" then the solution is simple. Build a time machine a retcon them out of existence or simply be smug in the fact that your comic prowess will set you superior amongst your peers, Herr Lehnsherr. At least we got eye candy.

Dude...
In response to your GameCube question:
Try Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. One of the *best* and most underrated GameCube games. You can find it pretty cheap nowadays and is totally worth playing through a couple of times, as it changes each time you play it. Just my $.02! :)
As for the Gamecube question, A lot of people have forgotten about the easy to pick up, addicting game play of Lost Kingdoms. It doesn't require a whole lot of time or investment.
As to your X3 quandaries, might I also make an addendum to your Halle Barry rant by saying, "WTF did her accent go?"
It was barely noticeable in the first one, and now it's completely gone. -_-
This was awesome. ^_^ Keep up the good work
really? a blowjob?
it's that easy...?
and all this time I was yelling: "not the hair! not the hair!"
good job boy blunder...this was not what i was expecting at all, but hey, it works! :-)
here here! It's a shame you'll be unlikely to get the bonus disc with Wind Waker these days :(
In response to the games reviews question... finding good games amounst the sewerage that spills into shops isn't that hard, avoid certain publishers *whistles innocently*
are you guys going to have a reviews section?
I can see this becoming a decent section to read, but no mention of Super Smash Bros Melee? I bought it on the day of release and me and my house-mates still play it. To this day. Still, keep up the good work!
So, if I've never read any of the x-men comic books, then X-3 is good?
>So, if I've never read any of the x-men comic books, then X-3 is good?
For that you'll need to wait for them to start the weekly "Ask-a-non-Fan-Boy" question and answer series.
;)
