LGBT Character of the Week: Anole
The only thing harder than being a reptillian-skinned, high-agility, wall-crawling mutant is...you guesed it, being a GAY reptillian-skinned, high-agility, wall-crawling mutant. Fortunately for Anole (a.k.a. Victor Borkowski) Northstar became his mentor and helped him accept not only being a mutant, but his sexuality as well.
Anole attends Xavier's where he is currently at a high-school level. He usually, albeit infrequently, appears in New Mutants. He also one of 27 students to retain their powers after M-day. You can learn all about him either at Marvel's bio page, or his write-up in wikipedia.
