OMG! You so need this!

Prism Comics has released their 2007 edition of Your LGBT Guide to Comics. The Guide reviews major queer events that have happened in the last year in most of the major publishers and ranks them from "abysmal" to "absolutely fabulous." Features include several articles of interest ranging from the role and treatment of HIV/AIDS in comics to an interview of the owner of my local comic book store, Zeus Comics (shameless plug). Profiles of out or friendly industry leaders and a short list of resources round out this 144-page reference guide. My personal favourite was the cut-out transvestite paper-doll in the style of Wonder Woman (page 37).
Available now from your local mag hag or Prism's website. Extra sexy bonus cover art by Joe Phillips (link debatably SFW).
We've written about Prism before and evidently they got what they needed.

I have a copy of the guide from... 2005? I think?
I'd like to pick up this one. Thanks to Prism Comics, I've started reading Tim Fish, Eric Shanower, and other great comic artists work.
Prism for the win!
I'll be impressed when mainstream comics writers/artists come up with a gay hero who's a little less Northstar and a little more Wolverine or Beast.
But, if I can find this, I'll pick it up and maybe I'll find that someone already has.
Umm, you mean like Colossus, raindog?
or Midnighter
The guide is awesome! I've been reading Tim Fish (Cavalcade of Boys) and Robert Kirby (Curbside) thanks to Prism. Oh, and Boy Blunder, you have the best avatar on the site!
midnighter (and apollo, for that matter) from the authority are probably the best examples of what raindog's looking for. ultimate colossus maybe not so much, since he's a hairless teenager.
there are others, though. josiah power from jla springs to mind immediately.
